PRICES, ACTIVITIES, WHAT TO BRING & RESERVATION INFORMATION
$17 per day per dog. $14 per day for second family dog in same run. Dogs have outdoor access in their private runs many times a day and some play with other dogs in the yards. However, special activities will make the stay go by much more quickly.
$22 per day per puppy (does not have adult shots) Puppy receives numerous potty times and One-on-One times with staff. We want this pet's first kennel experience to be positive and won't cut corners.
$23 per day for Seniors. Your faithful old friend will get special pampering and attention at our Resort. Seniors will receive a daily Senior Stroll and a little extra love in a private session with a staff member. Just like people, oldsters need to keep moving to retain muscle mass and proper weight while new experiences help them retain a healthy interest in life. Upgraded Senior packages are available.
$9 per day per cat. Cats can select activities too.
LONG-TERM STAY DISCOUNTS
Dogs staying more than 15 days will receive a 3% discount. Another 5% discount will be applied to each day after the 30th day.
Owners who plan to be gone more than two months should phone for rates.
Long stay dogs are required to be brushed every ten days counting from the end of the first week's stay. We have observed that brushing dogs is more than just for their cleanliness. These dogs need human contact i.e. to be touched and pampered and talked to in the privacy of the Groom Room. We feel so strongly about this that we will brush them for just $5 each time, regardless of how long it takes.

MUGSY
ACTIVE DOGS ARE HAPPY DOGS
*Swimmin' Hole, weather permitting is off leash at our half acre pond is the ultimate fun for guests who swim, wade or just sniff the nice assortment of trees, weeds and roll in the grass. Voted the most popular activity by visiting dogs!
*Sniff Around Playground is an outdoor grass area with a playhouse and a cart full of toys where dogs pick what they want. Dogs of the same family play together and get a group discount.
*Walk in the Woods is at least 20 minutes along interesting paths through our woods or down our country road.
*Senior Stroll, 15 minutes on a level surface.
*Birthday Cake is a one-layer "chocolate" and banana cake with cream cheese frosting, made in our own kitchen. It contains no preservatives. After the birthday celebration, we will freeze it for you to take home.
*Busy Bone, a toy packed with treats, involves your dog mentally and physically for a prolonged period.
*Kitty Play Time, run of the Cat Room and the scratching pole.
*One-on-One, private time in our lobby with a staff member. Pets get the kind of special attention you give them at home. Particularly recommended for dogs that are used to being held.
*Tuck-In, a bedtime story inside the dog's own run as it settles down for the night. Yes, we actually do this! Our favorite story is "The Three Little Pugs."
WINTER ACTIVITIES
*Hound Hangout is a dry indoor play area used when the snow is deep. Friendly dogs may play with others. Dogs of the same family play together and get a group discount.
*Winter Wonderland Walk is down our country lane: dogs love it, regardless of the weather. At least 20 minutes of stress relieving excercise.
FOOD
Owners are advised to bring the food their pet is used to eating. Bring just enough for the stay – no big bags, please, unless the stay is for many weeks. You may bring treats and chewies or purchase them from us at check-in. We have pig's ears, knuckle bones, pork femers, rawhide bones and lots of snacks.
If you do not bring your own food, dogs will be fed kennel kibble.
Cats must bring the food they are used to. You know what picky eaters they can be.
TOYS & BEDDING
One toy is enough to bring and, honestly, most pets are so interested in what is going on around them at the kennel that they don’t play with toys. Don’t bring a prized toy, please.
For dogs, we have off-the-floor Kuranda beds and lots of soft blankets and quilts. We cannot be responsible for your dog’s personal bedding and urge you to leave it home. Special foam mats are used for dogs with arthritis.
Cats are given rugs or small blankets for bedding and a personal litter box. We never scoop cat litter. We throw away all used litter and change the litter box itself every day.
HOLIDAY RESERVATION POLICY
Winter Holidays: Minimum stay of 4 paid nights during Thanksgiving or Christmas week. A deposit for 3 days must be made at the time the reservation is made. The deposit will be credited to the bill at checkout. Cancellations must take place by noon ten days prior to the day of arrival in order to received a refund. EARLY RESERVATIONS ADVISED!
